Cost Effective Way to Produce Functional Parts We Could Put Together
and Test
“PAS has been developing a prototype machine for dispensing prescription drugs in pharmacies. It was very costly for us to machine components and in some cases impossible to reproduce a part we were considering having injection molded in plastic.
Having components produced by Twenty First Century Energy was a time savings and cost effective way for us to produce functional parts we could put together and test. Within days we had components virtually identical to a production molded part without spending tens of thousands of dollars for hard tooling.
Twenty First Century Energy was attentive to our needs and produced the parts right from a solid model. During our development process, we were able to try several test designs before committing to hard tooling.
TFC stays in the forefront of technology and now has equipment operating fast enough that we are considering having them produce production parts in order to save the hard tooling cost. It's a great alternative for low production requirements.”

Work Holding Devices… Reduce Cost, Improve Efficiencies and Quality
in Manufacturing or Assembly Processes
“QEM was looking for new and better ways to produce work holding devises for our manufacturing processes. After being introduced to Twenty First Century Energy’s technology, we knew we found the answer we were looking for. They had the manufacturing background and know how to help. Having the ability to produce work holding devices that can hold several parts at a time, it allowed the machines to produce more parts without operator interaction. This allowed the operators to load the work holding devices while the machine was running, practically removing part load time.
The possibilities are endless in our plant with machining centers, EDM, laser marking and assembly fixtures. We would recommend Twenty First Century Energy to anyone looking to reduce cost, improve efficiencies and quality in manufacturing or assembly processes.”

Accurate Holding & Sight Gauging Fixtures Manufactured Quickly – Saving Days Over the Traditional Machining in Metal or Plastic
DEWTEC
“I've been the QC Manager for 6 years at DEWTEC and we do not compromise our quality for anything or anyone. We are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 and are always in a continuous improvement mode.
Twenty First Century Energy has made us accurate rapid prototype holding fixtures for our coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and numerous sight gauging fixtures. The holding fixtures provide us with accurate location of parts on the CMM within hours when the traditional method of design and build takes days.
The sight gauging provides inspection verification of diameter sizes of a family of parts, length requirements, and visual inspection of laser etch. Accidental mixing of parts within a family used to be a problem, but the sight gauging eliminated this issue. There are many more uses for sight gauging and we will continue to have them made as the need arises.
Laser etch fixtures are also used at DEWTEC. Customers routinely design small components and want laser etching in difficult orientations. Twenty First Century Energy has made various fixtures to mount components in an orientation that would take days to machine in metal or plastic.
I cannot speak high enough about the customer service and quality products from Twenty First Energy. They will even meet with you at your facility to assist in idea generation of where 3D prototype products will work for your business. In today’s market place of short lead times this service becomes invaluable to us.”
